Characteristics of upper mounted eccentric ball valve
Release time: 2026-06-10 09:18:05
The characteristics of the upper mounted eccentric ball valve are as follows:
1、 Sealing pair (valve core, valve seat) – bimetallic, achieving metal spherical ring hard sealing, fire and explosion prevention;
2、 The seal is tight, and the sealing between the valve core and valve seat is a spherical line contact, achieving zero leakage through three-dimensional eccentricity;
3、 The valve core of the sealing pair has a compensation amount. When the valve is used for a long time and the sealing pair is worn, simply loosen the limit bolt on the handwheel side and turn it slightly when closing to achieve reliable sealing and extend the service life.
4、 The compression sleeve can be unscrewed, the valve seat can be adjusted or replaced, and the valve can still be used, avoiding the drawbacks of many valves being scrapped after sealing failure.
Hemisphere valves are divided into six series according to their applications: universal valves, pipeline valves, slurry specific valves, gas specific valves, petrochemical specific valves, and coal powder injection specific valves. There are three transmission modes: manual, pneumatic, and electric. There are eight pressure levels (PN0.25-10.0Mpa) and hundreds of specifications (40-1000) of hemispherical valve products. In industries such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, power, and gas, it is an upgraded product of gate valves, globe valves, Y-shaped valves, and ball valves. At present, it is popular in coal powder injection in the steel industry, slurry, mother liquor, and alumina powder transportation in the alumina industry, hydraulic (or dry) ash removal in the power industry, petrochemical industry, gas industry, and other occasions.
