Flow and Pressure Regulating Valve-Squirrel Cage Structure

The flow and pressure regulating valve adopts multi-slot squirrel cage and special multi-slot squirrel cage structure. The multi-slot squirrel cage is a high- pressure applicable design. This accessory extends the end squirrel cage in a similar way to the pipeline, especially designed for specific operating conditions. The medium (water) jet flows from the outside to the inside of the slots and is equally and symmetrically divided to change the flow direction. The medium flows out from the slots on the other side and collides with the jets flowing out from the opposite side. During collision, part of the kinetic energy is converted into stable pressure energy. Cavitation bubbles are generated and dissipated at the center of the multi-slot squirrel cage. The pressure increases without causing any damage to the squirrel cage and pipeline. Bubble collapse occurs in the central pressure area of the medium flow without any damage.
